WellCTRL® Engineering is pleased to announce the execution of a Strategic Alliance Agreement with Oil Spill Response Limited (OSRL), formally integrating the company into the Global Subsea Response Network (GSRN).
The GSRN, coordinated by OSRL, is a collaboration of companies with specialist subsea experience. It supports OSRL members in enhancing preparedness and delivering an effective response to subsea well incidents. Participation in the GSRN reflects a high standard of technical capability, operational readiness, and alignment with industry best practices.
This alliance establishes a comprehensive global solution for subsea well control by combining OSRL’s world-class emergency response infrastructure with WellCTRL® Engineering’s deep expertise in well control engineering, relief well design, dynamic kill modeling, and plume trajectory & fate modeling. The framework enables OSRL Members and Subscribers to access a scalable, integrated, and rigorously governed suite of preparedness and response services.
The collaboration spans both preparedness and emergency response, including blowout contingency planning, WCD and kill modeling, training and large-scale exercises, as well as real-time source control advisory, relief well operations support, capping supervision, full subsea-to-atmosphere release continuum, including subsea plume dynamics, spill trajectory, oil weathering and fate, and atmospheric dispersion and incident management.
By joining the GSRN, WellCTRL® Engineering contributes to strengthening global readiness and advancing continuous improvement in subsea well control execution.
