WellCTRL® Engineering is pleased to announce a new contract with HWCG LLC to provide integrated oil spill and hazardous environmental modeling in support of offshore emergency preparedness and response.
As part of this agreement, WellCTRL® Engineering is now an officially approved core vendor and response provider within the HWCG framework. This designation enables HWCG Members to directly access WellCTRL®’s services, both for preparedness and emergency response, without the need to establish separate contracts.
Under the contract, WellCTRL® will deploy its proprietary PARSim® (Plume & Atmospheric Release Simulator) platform to model the full subsea-to-atmosphere release continuum, including subsea plume dynamics, spill trajectory, oil weathering and fate, and atmospheric dispersion.
PARSim® provides a fully dynamic, compositional modeling capability, supporting enhanced situational awareness and informed decision-making during high-consequence offshore scenarios.
This collaboration strengthens industry preparedness and reinforces a shared commitment to protecting people, property, and the environment.
